If you setup a new account and your Fitbit data synced initially but subsequent activities aren't appearing in the PAI app, there may be a problem with the connection between PAI and Fitbit.
In most cases, this can be fixed simply by reconnecting your Fitbit to your PAI account as described below:
Quick fix: Disconnect and reconnect your Fitbit to your PAI Health account
- Open the PAI Health and tap the purple account icon on the top right
- Tap "Devices"
- Tap "Disconnect" next to Fitbit and confirm by tapping "Yes"
- Tap "Connect" next to Fitbit and follow the steps to re-authorize it
This will immediately sync all heart rate data for the past two weeks, and any subsequent heart rates recorded by the Fitbit app should now be automatically sync with PAI Health.
Complete fix: Delete and recreate your Fitbit / PAI Health connection
If you've setup a second PAI Health or Fitbit account since your original connection, or if the steps above don't solve your connection issue for you, please follow the steps below to delete your connection entirely and recreate it.
This requires logging into your Fitbit account, revoking access to PAI from within your Fitbit dashboard to clear the existing connection, then to reconnecting Fitbit to your PAI account.
Step 1 - Revoke your Fitbit authorization
- In your web browser, go to https://www.fitbit.com/settings/applications and log in using your Fitbit credentials. Or, if you're already in your Fitbit Dashboard, you can go to Profile -> Settings -> Applications
- Click "Revoke Access" next to the "PAI - PAI Health" entry in the Applications list
Step 2 - Reconnect Fitbit to PAI
- Open the PAI Health and tap the purple account icon on the top right
- Tap "Devices"
- Tap "Disconnect" next to Fitbit and confirm by tapping "Yes"
- Tap "Connect" next to Fitbit and follow the steps to re-authorize it
Now your heart rate data should be syncing with the PAI Health app correctly.
Please contact support on the setting page of the app with a brief description of the problem if you continue to have issues.
